Dress: Thrift (i am thinking it was $4 but it could have been $5 sorry i bought it a long time ago), Cardigan: Thrift $2, Scarf: Gift from my sister, Tights: Ardenes $3, Boots: Spring $70
This was my comfortable lazy day outfit (i picked my blog song to go with that theme) that was still a bit stylish aka better then jeans and tshirt although i think it looks rather boring now. I promise better outfit photos next time!! Maybe a patterned scarf would have looked better? I am still mad at myself for purchasing these boots one year ago. They are no more then a glorified slipper with absolutely no support or insole. I cannot believe i paid a whopping seventy dollars for them when you could a buy similar pair at Ardenes for less then twenty dollars. I could understand shelling out that much for a super cute pair of lace up boots with tread and everything but these oh man i am shaking my head. I rescued this dress out of my give away pile of clothes. It is a bit short i will admit but i wear shorts underneath so there is no danger of accidental underwear flashing, i think i might keep it a bit longer. It was raining outside.... again, i am going to be so excited to outdoor pictures again!! Warning you might get sick of seeing this window as a background when the cold weather rolls around, it is my favourite place in the house to take photos now. Have a lovely day/evening depending on where you live :)!!

Fake Leather Jacket: Winners $40, Shirt: Thrift $3, Shorts: DIY Bluenotes, Belt: Salvation Army $4, Tights: Ardenes:$3, Shoes: Spring $24.91 (exactly lol), Clock: Necklace $5, Necklace: Thrift $1
Ok this isn't what i actually wore today but i wore it yesterday. Although the above picture is showing some sunshine shining in the window, it rained pretty much the entire day which is why i took pictures inside. I was so so so happy these actually turned out to be useable!! i have tried to take indoor photos inside numerous times especially after that incident in this post but they have been seriously awful. But i moved locations from my room to the living room and these didn't come out to bad thank goodness!! i was starting to get worried about what i would do when the winter came and i wouldn't be able to take photos outside as often. I love my new shoes :) you can't see but there is a heel about three inches or so. My dads reaction to them was "you don't really need anymore height do you?" uh thanks dad. I am relatively tall but when you are already up there a few more inches doesn't really make much of a difference and i am not wearing them for the height, i am wearing them for how they look!!
I love my fake leather jacket sooo much, it probably isn't good to be that attached to something. I read somewhere that Taylor Momsen said everyone should own a leather jacket and i heartily agree with her. I said a few posts ago i was going to a post a outfit of all the new things sitting deserted in the back of my closet, way harder then i had first imagined that post will come sometime i haven't forgotten but i think i will have to settle on just a new skirt and shirt!! oh i hemmed my first dress today ever!!! i was so thrilled i have had my sewing machine (thrifted thirty dollars works like a charm) for about six months and never used it (dreadful i know). But it came out really nicely so i am super excited to begin some more sewing projects, i can now buy things that need some work because i know i will actually do something with them!! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend!!

Skirt: Thrift $2, Shirt: Borrowed from my mom, Shoes: Payless $12, Belt: Thrift $2
A really simple outfit. Summer decided to return one last time and it was quite warm and super windy while i took photos, these are the only ones where my hair isn't flying about. The wind was whipping my skirt so hard!!! that is why in my photos you can see the outline of my shirt which was tucked in becuase the front of my skirt was being plastered to my legs. I debated about doing a post today because i am so sick of summer clothes and wish autumn would just come here to stay!! I find it hard to be inspired and create outfits i like when there is no layering involved. Good news, the shoes i ordered came and they fit!!! thank goodness, i really love them :). I had a completely different outfit planned including the shoes but the weather put a stop to that, way to warm!! So i will wear it and take photos on the weekend hopefully. Night everyone :)

Dress: Fairweathers $25, Cardigan: Thrift $4, Stockings: Ardenes $3, Shoes: Payless $12, Peals: Thrift DIY $1, Clock Necklace $5
My title for this post isn't the usual lyric from my post song but a very good description of my outfit. In my last post where i talked about always buying new clothes, taking ages and ages to wear them but always picking certain pieces over and over again (i am so so so glad other people are like that to!!). I thought i would do a outfit compilation of my favourite things and then one of all new things (we will see how that goes lol) that haven't been seen on this blog yet. I have worn this dress a few other times (here, here ) it is my favourite dress i own!! The cardigan is so big and warm, i wish i had about three more in different colours, i found it at the Salvation Army. The shoes i have worn numerous of times on here, they were my first pair of high heels!! Speaking of shoes i ordered some new ones!!!!! finally, so cross your fingers that they fit alright and i won't have to return them, i have weird long skinny feet so it can be really hard for me to find shoes. oh and my blog song is my absolute favourite eighties song (which is saying alot :)) I am off to watch Mad Men, isn't the new season just fantastic, so impressed!! Night everyone have a lovely week!!

Shirt: Thrift $5, Skirt: Fairweathers $25, Stockings: Ardenes $3, Shoes: Zellers $15, Belt Thirft $1, Necklace: Thrift $5
I am sorry about the quality of these photos, it is kindof crap, i am having some problems when i upload my pictures, it seems to lighten the photos considerable compared to what they look like on the viewfinder. As of late the only shopping i have been doing is from my closet, i have a ton of clothes i havn't worn yet and even more that i have only worn once (so bad). I think i can forget clothes shopping (small exception for coloured cardigans and coats) and concentrate on building my pitiful shoe collection. I think this is my only scandalously short skirt, i would never wear it out of the house with leggings or stockings. I bought it two or three years ago??? i can't remember but it isn't the most flattering waist band for me (it sits on the widest part of my stomach way below my natural waist) but i do love the print so i think i might keep it a little while longer. My cold has got considerably better, thank goodness!!! yesterday was just awful, i had a little nap today so i think that must of helped!! Have a good night lovelies :)

Blazar: Thrift $5, Dress: Bootlegger $5, Leggings: Stiches $10, Shoes: (super old), Bow Necklace: Thrift $1, Clock Necklace: Thrift $5, Pearls:DIY Thrift $1
I found this blazer at the back of my closet, i had bought it about six months ago, wore it once and promptly forgot about it until a few days ago! I got the dress on major clearance sale last week, it is to big but i thought i could belt it when i purchased it. Unfortunately it crinkles really badly with a belt but i think i can fix that with for a future outfit. This outfit was mainly inspired by Llymlrs whos blog i absolutely love, the dress just kindof reminds me of the gorgeous flowy clothes she wears. This was the absolute worst photo shoot ever. At first i went to a "abandoned" school (pictures at the bottom) and the director pulled up and i had to explain why i was on the property. He was very nice said i could take as many photos as i wanted but i left really quickly after that because i was a little bit embarrassed!!
Next i went to a spot on the river, that used to be part of a camp ground i think. So there is a little road to drive in and out (like a half circle) and a small little road (about ten meters long) that breaks off that. Anyways my car was on the smaller one and some people drove in on the other one while i was taking photos. They drove up really slowly and then stopped the car about two meters away from me and wouldn't leave. So i stood there with my tripod/camera and stared at them while nearly having a heart attack (i was in behind lots of trees, completely alone). Eventually i started to walk to my car which was a little piece away and they slowly followed me there and finally turned stopped at the entrance for another few minutes and finally finally left but turned around and drove back on the highway slowly staring at me while i was trying to cram my tripod in the car. I was in tears at this point, so i gunned the car and hurriedly drove home. I am never ever ever going to really secluded place by myself again and other bloggers DON'T do that either unless you have someone with you!!
I just reached thirty followers on google connect which was so so so exciting!!!! I know that isn't a lot compared to millions of other bloggers but i still remember when i had no followers for the longest time so i love all of my followers probably way to much :)!! And thankyou for all of the lovely comments they really brighten up a crappy day!! Until next time have a lovely week free of creepy encounters while taking photos!!

T-shit: Bootlegger $5, Tank Top (underneath): Thrift $2, Shorts: Bluenotes DIY, Scarf: Super old, Hat: Thrift $1, Tights: Ardenes $3, Boots: Thirft $2
I wore this outfit to run errands today (minus the hat i forgot it). The white shirt and tights are some of the new things i purchased on wednesday. The shirt stretched a bit throughout the day and by the time i took photos it kept falling down constantly and would NOT stay put. I love big slouchy things!!! this outfit was so comfy all day. I just realized i am wearing the same ankle boots for three posts in a row, so not good but i do really love them!! I am avidly watching a few pairs of lace up boots on ebay so hopefully i will have some shoe variety soon!! oh i have the funniest story about this outfit, still makes me giggle even now. I was walking through Zellers to look at the make up and while i was heading down the aisle this very small elderly woman was walking towards me. You will never guess what happened as i approach her, she looks at me and says "WOW your sexy!" in this really loud voice. Honest to goodness this happened and i just burst out laughing right then and there. I ducked behind a display and had a good laugh then went on my way. I just think that was so random!! I took these photos a bit to late tonight (it gets dark so early now) and i didn't realize how stormy my pictures from my previous post looked until i looked on a different day, yikes!! Oh i completely forgot i opened a twitter account many many months ago. I think i used it for about three days and then promptly forgot about it!! But i am going to try and use it regularly from now on, heres the link (twitter). I must start following more people!!! I hope the weekend is going well for everyone!!

Jacket: Winners $40, Scarf: super old so i can't remember the price!, Shirt: Thrift (Salvation Army) $2, Shorts: Stitches (also super old) approx. $15, Shoes: Thrift $2, Tights: Ardenes $3
I would like to show you my favourite new shirt!!! i bought it at the salvation army for a two days ago for only two dollars and had to wear it right away!!! love thrift stores so much sometimes :). It's a little hard to see in my pictures but it was so so cold i couldn't take off my jacket. Weird weird weather boiling hot and then down right chilly. I tried a different look for these photos instead leaving my hair down in its usual wavy mess (aka i was to lazy to shower and just yanked it all up into a bun). Oh i also am wearing my glasses i usually wear contacts but my eyes were a bit sore today and they kindof breakup how completely pumpkinish my face shape looks when my hair is up lol. I wore this outfit to visit friends in my old town which i moved from. Had a really good time and also got some shopping done!!! I went to a few thift stores but didn't find anything but i did get some really nice shirts at a regular store (i was shocked to) on major clearance for about five dollars each.
i also bought six pairs of tights, a black and grey stocking type and four various patterned ones for twenty dollars altogether. Very long story concerning tights that day. At first i had on the pair from my previous post which i ripped the top when i put them on which i i thought i could disguise with my shorts. But oh no it kept slipping down and amid one attempt to pull it higher i put another monster hole in them (this was after i had bought the others). So i changed into the small fishnet ones which i love. But while my friend and i were taking photos at the harbor i caught them on my jacket :( which was so sad since i JUST bought them. Ok please don't let this change your opinion of me honestly i never would do this normally but my friend encouraged it i took them back to the store and told them there was a hole when i opened the package which is HORRIBLE i know i felt terrible about it. The girl was super nice and just handed me a new package making me feel even worse. My mother would so not be impressed. I think that was the most dishonest thing i have ever done. I put the brand new tights on for the above photos which went very well and then when i walking into the house my camera bag brushed my leg and pulled a whole in almost the same spot can i say karma or what. I kindof felt a bit relieved I tried to fix it with nail polish but i don't know i don't think i am meant to have those tights. The photo below was taken at the harbor in my old town, the others were taken on a road i drove to near my house. I just got my g2!!!! so i already have a whole list of great outfit picture locations.
Shirt: Thrifted $3, Vest: Thrifted $6 , Pants: Stiches $20, Flats: Thrifted $1, Belt: Thrifted
I loved my friends outfit, she is my thrift shopping buddy!! so many people are stuck up about second hand shopping which i really don't understand? I have already wrote the longest post ever so i won't get into that hmmmm might do a future post on that sometime though. Recently i was asked to become a member of a Chic Beauty a new feature on the Beauty and a the Budget blog which i so excited to be involved in!!! If anyone wants to ask me for something feel free to!!I would really love to blogger interviews but don't really know how to begin that. I posted my first Chic Beauty post today. The Vampire Diaries premiered tonight and i missed it!!!! i will have to watch it on the computer sometime, i have a monster crush on one of the characters lol that probably sounds so geeky but whatever lol. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week!!

Fake Leather Jacket: Winners $40, Tights: Thrift $1, Shoes: Thrift $2, Crochet Sweater/Dress: Thrift $4, Necklace: $5, Necklace $1
This outfit isn't from today, i actually wore it about two weeks ago and never seemed to upload the photos. There are quite a few pictures i couldn't decide which ones to use!! I love my fake leather jacket!!! it is my favourite thing i own at the moment. I bought the crochet sweater a few months ago and finally finally the weather was cool enough to wear it!! I love how you can find most new trends thrift shopping (lace, crochet, high waisted shorts/skirts, lace up boots)for so cheap. I really want to find more oversized sweater/dresses, i love how they look with tights. Quite a few weird things happened to me while i was taking these photos. I had my timer all set and went out to pose and i jogger went right by me. i hadn't even seen her!!! that was kindof awkward. Next a car drove down the road really slow and this guy was looking out the window grinning and nodding, it made me laugh :). When i was finishing up this old couple came and i noticed the man walking really fast toward me. I hurried to pack up my things before they arrived, it was kindof cute when he walked past me he said he was hurrying so i could take his picture lol.
On the weekend i did a whole Geeks and Feaks tv show marathon. Seriously it is my favourite show...ever. How did it get cancelled after only one season??? so sad there are no more episodes :(. I am really inspired by the fashion in it and want to wear lots of plaid and get a army jacket now ( oh my blog song is from the last episode)
Don't worry i am wearing shorts under this dress. Jumping while holding my dress down, not showing my shorts, getting the timing right and trying to smile was a little harder then i had originally thought!! There were quite a few blooper shots :).
