Fall Checklist!!!

My fall checklist!!! These are things i desperately need to get through the cold weather although it is so damn hot as i am typing this so it is a bit hard to imagine fall is really close! I have no idea why some of my paragraphs of linked to something. That was definitely not intentional and i cannot seem to get it off?

Thick Scarves

Definitely need to find some more of solid coloured scarves. I ruined my favourite white one last year (caught it on hook and pulled... not a good idea).

Oversized Cardigans

I love big comfy cardigans!!! they just go so well with everything!! and big thick ones are so warm for the fall/winter. I would love to get some different coloured ones. On the look out at thrift stores for a red, navy blue and dark green cardi. I don't know why it is so hard to find a good thrifted cardigan?? maybe no one gives them away because they are so great lol i dunno definitely takes me a long time to find a cute one.

Leather Jacket

Hehe i already found this one...finally!!! I have wanted a fake/real leather jacket for ages and ages. whenever i saw bloggers wearing theres i was always so green with envy!! I searched and searched but i could never find any that fit me. There always seemed to be something wrong like they didn't fit my shoulders but the rest was fine, or the sleeves would be to short, or i would find one that fit my shoulders but the rest would be huge. I finally gave up but on my last shopping trip i went into a Winners and just randomly tried one on and loved it!!! it is a pretty good fake leather (soft and looks like the real stuff) and it was only forty dollars plus my sister payed for pretty much of all of it as my birthday present!! the one below kind of looks like it but with more zippers. I actually wore it the other day for the first time!!! when the weather was cooler, i took outfit pictures and will upload them as soon as my disk drive is fixed!





Floral Skirt

I don't have a single floral skirt!! lots of floral dresses and a blouse but no skirt. i am hoping to find a one at a thrift store and probably alter the length.




Fall/ Winter Coats

Sometimes you can find the best vintage coats at a fraction of what they would cost in stores.

Plaid Shirt

Still don't have one of these yet. I would love to find a blue one like the one below or a red one.

Oxfords

I love oxfords. I really need to go shoe shopping, I am completley lacking in the shoe department.

Patterned Tights

Last time i was in Ardenes they were have a sale were tights were only about three dollars each!! i am seriously hoping that is still on.

Lace Up Boots

All of these boots are sooooo gorgeous. I need to find a pair asap!!

Red Skinny Jeans

I love coloured skinny jeans!! i once saw a girl with the wearing the most amazing turquoise jeans and wanted them ever since. I actually found some!!! thrift shopping in the city!!! cannot wait to wear them. But before that i always wanted red skinny jeans so now i am back to lusting after them.





Knee High Boots

Does anyone else find boots so expensive in regular stores? I can't bring myself to purchase them (very cheap i know lol) when i think of all of the dozens of lovely things i could buy thrifting. I was in the Guelph (Ontario, Canada) value village and they actually had a pretty decent collection of winter boots. I should have tried some on jeez what was i doing, summer is the best time to buy things for winter/fall because everyone donates there old things!! Anyways i will have to go back and try to find some really soon because i think that is the only way i will ever have knee high boots!!

Over the knee socks

I really do like this trend!! but i think it might look awful on my chunky legs :). But i think it would look really cute with any of the boots above. So i might get a pair sometime just to try it out!






i just saw this trailer Tamara Deere a few days ago and i think it looks absolutely hilarious!! i really want to see it sometime. Probably going to have to wait until it comes out on dvd. Limited release movies never come near my town :). My computer is going in to be fixed tomorrow!!! hopefully it won't take to long though i am going to miss blogging. I cannot wait to upload images with the proper software!!! I hope every one has a lovely none melting from the heat day!

I wore this outfit to go to the movies on Tuesday with my aunt and cousin. I think the whole day was cursed!! We were late so i didn't get a chance to take outfit pictures that day (i took these the day after). Supper was super good though we went to a Thai restaurant and my dish was great!!! But Eat, Pray, Love which we were going to see was completely sold out and there was absolutely nothing left to watch. We ended up going to Starbucks and talking for two and half hours. I am making weird faces in these pictures, yeesh and just when i thought i was getting a bit better at outfit photos. i can't believe i haven't worn this romper on here before since i found it near the beginning of the summer. There are only two things i hate about it, one it is quite the nuisance when you need to use the washroom, two it wrinkles constantly. I ironed this before the photos but the second you sit down it looks the exact same. It was only four dollars though!!! which was such a bargain. I love big slouchy cardigans!!! unfortunately they seem to be hard to find in my local thrift stores near my home but i bought this one on my camping trip. It is so warm i think it will be a fall/winter staple for sure!! I think i might be making a trip to the city so hopefully i will be able to find some new shoes!!!!! i am getting a little tired of the few i own.





I thought i would use this picture to show my makeup. I just bought purple liquid eyeliner and i love it!!! I always thought people with blue eyes couldn't wear different coloured eyeliner (according to magazine articles) but i really kindof love it, i think it makes them look a bit greenish...maybe.



I went for a run a few hours after i took these photos. Definitely got way out of shape in my laziness and lack of exercise the last few months. Does anyone else have a exercise routine or planning to start one? Whenever i ask questions on here i generally don't get a response (oh well lol) But i am trying to eat healthier again so what did you have for supper? (me, vegetarian chili with extra beans yummy!!)

Really simple outfit this time. I don't wear pants on here very often, it has been so awfully hot lately the break in the weather is a welcome change!!! I also hate my thighs so that might have something to do with it lol. This outfit was basically inspired by mode d'amour who always does such amazing simple outfits. The weather was kindof weird while i was taking photos the sun came out for fifteen minutes but after that it looked like it was going to rain! It felt a bit weird not to wear a necklace since i love them dearly, to think i never even wore a piece of jewellery just a few months ago! My hair looked awful so i thought i should finally wear my long searched for hat. I have been wanting a fedora type hat for ages except my head is apparently really big because i don't fit into any woman's sizes at regular stores. So i was really excited to see this men's hat at a thrift store! Does anyone else watch Australia's Next Top Model? god i love that show religious follower since cycle three (i just don't like the American one anymore). But i thought this cycle was amazing!! I cannot find the new episode anywhere on the Internet... ugh.

I took these pictures two days ago in the orchard down the road from my grandparents house! i thought they were just awful the day i took them and had to do some editing because i had the light settings all wrong but i don't think they turned out as bad as i had originally thought. I tried to wear socks with sandals but the grass was really long in certain places and my feet kept slipping around in my shoes so they had to be discarded to avoid a huge tumbling disaster!! I think those shoes are one of the few purchases i just shake my head at and think why did i buy those? I do like them dearly, they are cute with black and white polka dots. But they are too high and i think a bit to small. I think i am going to have to draw the limit on three inch heels anything above that i am far to tall and am a walking danger sign as i might fall down and crush innocent bystanders at any moment lol. I think i am going to hold onto them until next summer and then send them off to a consignment shop to get some money back. I love my camera ( a Canon Rebel XS) but i still don't have the right programs downloaded yet :). I fixed on the two technological problems (besides the camera one) i discovered how to make my photos bigger using photobucket!!! But i have no idea what is going on with my right side bar????? it used to be on the right hand side of my photos and one day i looked and it was on the bottom to the left?? The layout says it should be to on the right so i have no idea what is going on?? I have to tried to change it or switch sides but it always stays the same, very confusing?? if anyone has had a similar problem or knows how to fix it i would be so so so happy and grateful!!! Other then that i hope everyone has a good weekend!!

I haven't posted a outfit in a while :) but i am not feeling very creative and am hating my wardrobe at the moment. I tried to take a few outfit pictures lately but i dislike the outfit afterwards or today i mucked up the photos after playing around with the settings on my camera, it is very hard not to do that!!! i need to read the manual more!! I got my new camera yesterday!!! and can i just say i absolutely LOVE it. the pictures are so clear (although when i uploaded them on blogger they seemed a bit fuzzy). When i went to upload the software on the computer the disk drive seems to not be working anymore (so so mad) but i managed to upload the pictures on another application but i think that might explain the fuzzier quality because they weren't completely compatible, hopefully the stupid drive gets fixed soon!! I wore this outfit shopping a few days ago. I was to tired to take photos when i came home that day and i kindof wanted to wait for my new camera!! But i really did like this outfit so i put it on again to take these photos! I took alot of pictures most of them were on auto but i can't wait to learn all of the different features and settings on my camera!!. I have worn this dress before on this blog in my favourite photo shoot thing to date (Here) but to i tryed to wear it differently by switching up the belt, jewellery and i wore it backwards! Kindof a nice way to change up the look of the dress without having to spend any money on it!
